Did you know that you can sub contract, part or all of your activities for part m sub part g?
Jet Engineering Technical Support Ltd "JETS" is fully approved by EASA to supply continuing airworthiness services under EASA Part M Sub Part G & I.
EASA have now made it mandatory that all operators (including private) demonstrate Continuing Airworthiness. This means that the onus is on the Operator to know the maintenance history of the aircraft (from birth) and to ensure that the aircraft is up to date with maintenance and ADs in order that an Airworthiness Review Certificate (reccomendation must come from someone approved by EASA) can be issued by the Operators NAA (National Aviation Authority).
CAMP whilst a very useful service is simply a data base for information and therefore the old adage "rubbish in and rubbish out" applies. Meaning unless the data entered in is correct and has been verified by someone approved under EASA Part M sub part G, having the aircarft on CAMP on its own doesn't meet the requirements of EASA.
As of April, 2008 all private operators flying in Europe with aircraft in excess of 5700Kg must now demonstrate Continuing Airworthiness.
